Sitting High!

Nobody becomes a crane operator for the glory.

You do it because you like the work. Because something about the weight, the precision, and the responsibility feels right.

I’ve moved steel that became buildings. Loads that became infrastructure. Materials that became things people use every day without ever thinking about the crane operator who put them there.

And that’s fine. That’s the job.

But every now and then, I finish a lift, look at what we’ve built, and feel something I can’t quite put into words. Not pride in the showing-off sense. Pride in the quiet sense. The kind that comes from doing difficult work, doing it well, and knowing it matters.

That’s what keeps me climbing.
